Benjamin Alan Gott

Benjamin Alan Gott passed away on May 27th, 2026 at the age of 64. He was born in Des Moines, Ia, on December 13th,1961. Ben grew up hunting wild asparagus in the ditches. He also enjoyed fishing and sometimes he would even put the fish he caught at night in the bath tub to clean later, to get yelled at later by his mom. Over the years Ben built a life centered around family and friends. He enjoyed traveling with the carnival for a few years. He had his faith and enjoyed going to the southern Baptist Church when he lived down in Mississippi. He enjoyed working with concrete.His favorite NFL team was the Minnesota Vikings. He had hoped to see them go to the Superbowl, Sorry hon. Bread was his favorite musical artists. He also enjoyed listening to the 70 & 80 hits. Ben was survived by his wife, Joyce. His children: Jessica (Steve) Patterson, Micheal ( Hayley) Patterson, Jessyca (John) Gott, Nathan (Christina) Gott, Cody (Katelyn) Gott and Tristan hanson. He had 20 grandkids ( that he knew of). county hospice for their wonderful help and care of Ben toward the end of his life. They are very grateful for all they did. In honor of Benjamin . Gott love of good food and great company, we are throwing the kind of get together Ben would have loved. So come and let u share stories and memories at our celebration of life potluck.
