Vivian Elizabeth (Bry) Byerly Age 64 May 21, 1961 – November 4, 2025 New Haven, Iowa Vivian Elizabeth (Bry) Byerly, age 64, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, in New Haven, Iowa. She was born on May 21, 1961, in Rockford, Illinois, and graduated from Harlem High School in 1979. Vivian devoted her life to raising her three daughters in Beloit, Wisconsin. Through life’s many challenges, she developed remarkable resilience, compassion, and strength — qualities that inspired her lifelong commitment to helping others. Her experiences shaped her into a fierce advocate for those in need and guided her career in public service. Vivian was passionate about giving back to her community. She volunteered for Head Start and served on numerous committees, including the board of the Merrill Community Center. During her time with Neighborhood Housing Services of Beloit, she held several roles — from assistant to the director to housing counselor — and found her true voice as an advocate. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eric and Margaret Bry; grandparents, Clarence and Eunice Bry and Vivian Travis; and granddaughter, Erika Amaya. Vivian is survived by her three daughters — Jennifer Bry, Sarah Byerly, and Paula Byerly — and her beloved grandchildren: Noah, Oliver, Nayeli, Henry, Martha, Eric, Franklin, and Melany. Vivian’s greatest joy in life was her grandchildren, with whom she shared her time, love, and laughter. She also cherished the simple beauty in life — Thomas Kinkade paintings, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Precious Moments figurines, and the delicate perfection of snowflakes.
